Anthony W. Parker is a principal with Kelly Parker & Cohen and one of the firm’s managing partners. His practice focuses on personal injury cases, with an emphasis on motor vehicle accidents and insurance claims. As a trial attorney, Mr. Parker has helped individuals navigate the complex insurance system since 1997 and has recovered millions of dollars of insurance payments and benefits for seriously injured people and their families.
Mr. Parker additionally represents clients who are abused or neglected in nursing homes, and people who have suffered work-related injuries.
His philosophy is to personally engage with each client, so he can understand their physical, emotional, and economic challenges following an accident and craft a litigation strategy that best addresses their needs, as well as the needs of their family.
In order to provide every client with the individualized attention they deserve, Mr. Parker limits the number of personal injury cases he will accept.
In addition to representing accident victims, Mr. Parker represents clients in criminal and immigration cases. Often, the two areas intersect, and he helps clients resolve felony and misdemeanor charges in a manner that allows them to maintain their legal immigration status.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Parker served as a law clerk in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, where he worked on workers’ compensation issues, as well as in the Office of General Counsel for the Governor of Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Parker was a legal intern in the office of then U.S. Representative Thomas J. Ridge, former Governor of Pennsylvania and Director of National Homeland Security.
